How It Works

la Roche -Winter semi-Catered Bookings

Included:

  • 5x evenings of home-made tasty and classic 2 course evening meals (main course and dessert) brought up to the chalet at a pre-arranged time of your choosing between 18:00 and 20:30  and to be served and tidied away by yourselves.

  • Kids meals: Children can either eat the adult menu with the parents or parents are welcome to prepare simple children's meals in the chalet, providing at the end of the week the kitchen is left as they found it.

  • Half a bottle of either white or red house wine or 4 bottles of beer per person per evening meal.

  • There will be a reasonably priced honesty bar, or you are welcome to purchase wine or beer in the village to consume at the chalet.

  • Fresh baguettes and pastries will be delivered each morning for the duration of your stay and the chalet will be stocked with continental breakfast items throughout the week. This includes but is not limited to the following items: Cereal, butter, spreads, teas and coffee, fruit yoghurts, fruit bowl, milk, eggs (to be cooked yourselves). These will be topped up throughout your stay.

  • Tea and coffee making facilities.

  • Bedlinen is provided, as are bath towels and hot tub towels.

  • Toilet roll, kitchen roll, and cleaning products are present in the chalet.

  • Firewood and firelighters are provided but you are responsible for lighting the fire, or cleaning it should it need its ash emptied over the duration of your holiday.

  • Mid-stay clean of chalet common areas is included.

  • Sole use of the hot tub.

  • Ski storage and boot warmers are available for use in the garage.

  • We can pre-load your lift passes, for you to then pay via an online portal on your arrival at the chalet. This can save a lot of time, and saves you from having to go and queue at the lift office in person.

  • We can help you organise transfers, ski lessons or hire.

Things we aren't able to provide:

  • Kids evening meals, should they not be eating the adult menu.

  • The chalet is not staffed, so any tidying up after mealtimes, clearing away the breakfast table, loading the dishwasher etc would be down to you.

  • There are 2 evenings where we won’t be providing evening meals. On these evenings we can either book you a table in a restaurant locally, there are also a number of takeaway restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. This is at your own expense.

  • We don’t provide transfers to or from the airport.

  • We don’t provide lifts to or from the ski lifts, however there is a ski bus that runs regularly throughout the day and is located 200m from the chalet.

  • Whilst we can cater for dietary requirements, ie a vegetarian or a coeliac, this isn’t a bespoke catering service and we wouldn’t be able to cater for multiple food requirements within one group.

  • Ski or snowboard hire.

  • Lift pass.

  • Travel and Winter Sport insurance*.

  • Child minding or Nanny service.

  • *Important: We strongly recommend making sure you have adequate travel insurance as well as winter sport insurance. We experience more severe winters here in the Alps, and this can mean more instances of delayed travel, and other weather related issues. Having the correct insurance will ensure any issues will have as minimal an impact on your holidays as possible.
